A Dog's Day in the Mountains
Dozens of lakes dot the high-alpine landscape of the Snowy Range Mountains near Laramie, Wyoming. Many of which are only a few feet deep, but provide a picturesque oasis below the Medicine Bow and Browns peaks. Water becomes more scare in the late summer, as some of the small ponds dry up before the winter snow season recharges the area once again. A dog takes in the scenery from a rock outcropping.
