Second Beach Sun Rays
Sunset at the Second Beach at La Push in Olympic National Park. The famous beach is known for its stone haystacks, tide pools and natural bridge. Many camp along the Pacific Ocean to take in the setting western sun and cool sea breeze. Rocks and boulders create tide pools where starfish, hermit crabs and other sea creatures call home. Hoh Rain Forest Maples
The Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park. The temperate forest receives around 12 feet of rain a year which allows prolific growth from douglar firs, cedars, bigleaf maples and dozens of species of moses and lichens to grow and flourish into an emerald forest. Salmon Cascades
The Salmon Cascades is an area of bouldres and waterfalls along the Sol Duc River. The spot used to be a way for salmon to make their way down or upstream but due to overfishing the fish have not returned.
